Dear Vita and Moussa,
I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our time with you in New Orleans. On our four day
trip to New Orleans, we are so glad that we decided to spend two days with you on your tours. The
bike trip was fantastic - we learned so much about New Orleans. Being on a bicycle was a great
way to get a real feel of the city - covering much more ground than a walking tour and getting a
much better sense of the city than being in a car. Our teenage sons who would have been reluctant
to be on a traditional "tour" were fascinated by your stories of architecture, hurricanes and of
course the cemetaries. I have been spoiled by the reclining bike - it will be hard to get back on
my old bike. The kayak trip was a peaceful respite from the pace of the city. It was beautiful and
we loved seeing the baby alligator and the nutria.
In addition to being a wealth of knowledge, you were fun and relaxing to be with - making us feel
like we were with friends. We have done many outdoor tours in many cities and this was certainly
the best we have done.
We wish you well. Thanks for everything.

Hi Guys!
Just wanted to tell you how much we loved the kayak swamp tour! It was the
highlight of our vacation and will be very hard to beat. Jack, Sandy, Danny
and I have been going on vacations together for many years but this was the
best adventure so far. Thank you so much for being exceptional guides and
showing us your part of the world. You made us feel like old friends.....
and the short cut was fantastic! Glad we all decided to take it. We'll
recommend you to anyone visiting New Orleans.
Could you please tell me the 3 body's of water you took us to so I can make
sure it's in my journal correctly. Thanks again!
PS............ and Vita you were right, the spiders WERE spectacular!

Dear Veda and Musa:
Greetings from Ohio! Just wanted to say thanks again for making our vacation
so memorable. We truly enjoyed your company. In fact, our next vacation
will seem lonely without the two of you!
We feel that because of you both, we were able to experience and appreciate
New Orleans in a way that would not have been possible had we come as
"conventional" tourists. We really enjoyed 'learning' about everything we
were seeing. That made this vacation especially fun for us. We came home
and told all of our friends what a wonderful Cajun city New Orleans is! (Oops
- did I say Cajun? I meant Creole...ha-ha!)
Seriously, we will highly recommend you to anyone we know heading south for
the winter. Too bad you don't have a satellite office in Napa Valley (we had
planned that to be our next biking adventure) we'd book another tour with you
there!
Thanks again, and best wishes to the both of you.
Andrea and Scott Hedges
PS: I've enclosed some of those tofu and other recipes we talked about.
Happy cooking!

Dear Vida,
New Orleans was magnificent - made all the more so by the wonderful kayak
experience we enjoyed with you and Mussa (sp?). Helen and I appreciated your
knowledge and all your tips. Jacque-imo's was the greatest. The food and
ambiance couldn't have been better and the trip out on the streetcar afforded
me my one opportunity to see Garden District just a little. We took in
Storyville on Friday night and Bob very kindly dedicated a couple of songs to
us and sat with us during his breaks. We loved the music and he is such a
great gentleman. So not only did you provide us with a memorable time in the
bayous but you also gave us insights we would have never known of without
your guidance. I am returning your hat along with two tea towels which I made
for you. Thank you so very much for it ALL!
My best wishes to you both and if you ever visit Seattle do contact me. My
house is open to you and I would love to show you our great Northwest!
Happy paddling...

Vita,
Well, you get what you pay for... and sometimes you luck out and get more!
That's how I felt about my personalized Laid Back bicycle tour. I was
initially hesitant to take the tour since it was so much more expensive than
the bus and walking tours. But I am so glad that I decided to try it. It
was better than all the other tours combined. I saw everything up close,
covered a lot of territory, learned history and interesting facts, and felt
joyful and pampered. I would highly recommend your tour. Thanks.

Hey Y'all....
Just wanted to drop a line and say again what a wonderful time Linda and I
had kayaking on the bayou with Laid Back Tours.... great equipment, excellent
location for first-timers to paddle the bayou (lots of wildlife in a
beautiful serene setting), super WEATHER (however you did that), but most
importantly, all of the great conversation and knowledgeable information that
was exchanged throughout the day.... The two of you have found the missing
element that most tour companies have failed to grasp.... "Just have a laid
back time with friends" Thanks again... We'll be back soon...

Dear Veda & Mussa (do I have the spelling right?):
Sam & I have finally re-entered our world, but are longing to be back
in N.O.
We truly had a wonderful time with y'all. The bike trips were terrific and we
will spread the word in our neck of the woods. We stopped in at Storeyville
and dance a bit. Saturday, we had Beignets and coffee at Café du Monde-
what
an operation- the turnover is incredible, and the beignets were sinfully
delicious. Veda- you must be clairevoiant- we asked the waitress for 2
coffees and ONE order of beignets- sure enough she brought a plate of 6 (2
orders) just like you predicted. We called her attention to it but managed to
choke them all down anyway! We picked up another muffalatta to go (for lunch
later) at Central Grocery and headed to the trolley for the Garden District.
We had a walking tour map, so we saw all the highlights. Ann Rice's house was
not mentioned so thank you for clueing us in. We had dinner at The Pelican
Club- our best meal in N.O.- thanks for all your great suggestions- you were
right on the money! Unfortunately, we never did get to Tippatina's- we ended
up having an after dinner drink in the St. Ann/Marie Antoinette Hotel
courtyard- very pretty setting- and a lovely place to stay- maybe next time.
Sunday came too quick, I'm afraid. Mary took us to the airport- she was a
real find as well. Thanks again for giving us such a great taste of N'awlins-
you made it very memorable for us- Laissez les bon temps roullez!

Dear Veda, dear Mosse (is this your name?),
We would like to, again, thank you for the wonderful kayaking tour you both
organized for us. We definitely had a great day and enjoyed both nature and
your company a lot. We are the group of four Germans you took to the trip ten
days ago.
And again, I would like to confirm that I'd love to help you with the German
website or other German text whenever it's needed! I wish you a great end of
the summer with lots of great excursions.
Best wishes also from Thomas, Verena and Hans,
Dorothea

Hey guys! We're back in Houston and back to reality...work, dishes in the
sink, etc. We just wanted to drop a line to say thanks again for an amazing
time. We have been telling everyone about our trip. It really does open up
a whole new New Orleans experience. We told the owner of the B&B about you
and he took your name and website!
You guys are great. We really enjoyed your company and hope to stay in
touch. We found out that the convention will be the second week in November.
We just need to find out where it is being held. We will keep you updated.
Any time you guys plan on visiting Houston, please contact us. We would love
to return the hospitality you showed us.
Keep in touch... Dina and Billy Whitaker
